John O'Herren has devoted his practice to civil litigation specializing in larger commercial disputes and serious personal injury matters. He has tried, as first chair counsel, well over 50 cases to verdict before Central Texas juries in both State and Federal District Court. He has been Board Certified in both Civil Trial and Personal Injury Trial law since 1993. Mr. O'Herren specializes in presenting complicated business and insurance cases in a manner easily understood by lay juries. He is proficient in PowerPoint and makes frequent use of technology in telling his client's story in court.
In the last five years the cases Mr. O'Herren has handled varied from serving as lead counsel in a suit to cancel a multimillion dollar lignite coal contract to defending a concrete manufacturer in a triple death case.
